Soft Contact Lenses

Soft contact lenses are the most commonly prescribed due to the fact that they are extremely comfortable. Soft contacts are now available in multi focal, for astigmatism and even for overnight wear. Soft contact lenses include:

• Daily Wear
• Extended Wear
• Disposable: can be worn for just one day, then discarded
• Color-Changing: can change the color of your eyes, even if vision correction is not needed

Multifocal Soft Contact Lenses

Multifocal Contact Lenses have a range of powers similar to progressive lenses, in each lens. Multifocal contacts is a catch-all term used for all contact lenses with more than one power.

Scleral Contact Lenses

Scleral Contact Lenses are noticeably larger than standard gas permeable (GP) contacts and have a diameter equal to or greater than that of soft contact lenses. The smallest sclerals are approximately 14.5 mm in diameter, and the largest can be up to 24 mm.
